Longtime Merion Fire Company Of Ardmore Firefighter Dies
Harry W. Hicks III served the Merion Fire Company of Ardmore as a firefighter for 50 years. He will be greatly missed.

ARDMORE, PA — A member of the Merion Fire Company of Ardmore who served the comnuntiy for half a century has died.
The fire company said longtime firefighter Harry W. Hicks III has died.
Hicks was with the fire company for 50 years and served as a firefighter, assistant chief, and on the Board of Manahers during his tenure. The fire company said Hicks also served on many committees and helped to guide the company.

Friends are invited to call on Saturday, April 13th at 9 a.m. at the McConaghy Funeral Home, 328 W. Lancaster Ave. in Ardmore and are invited to attend the funeral service beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the same location.
Interment will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
