From May 21 to May 26, police in Lower Merion Township will be looking for drivers under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Lower Merion Township will be cracking down on impaired driving for a few days.
From May 21 to May 26, police will conduct impaired driving patrols throughout the township.
The focus will be on finding motorists who are operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances.

Police are conducting the patrols in partnership with a national impaired driving crackdown featuring intensified, highly visible enforcement activities using the tagline “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.”
Roving patrol details are funded by a PennDOT grant and are one of many tools used to increase public safety through increased awareness created by high profile enforcement.
