Lower Merion Police Cracking Down On DUI Through December

All December, police in Lower Merion will be out looking to stop drivers who are under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Throughout December, Lower Merion Township Police will be out in force to stop impaired driving.

Police said all December they will be undertaking a DUI crackdown initiative.

Motorists in Lower Merion are warned to "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over."

Police will be using impaired driving patrols throughout the township to bring anyone driving under the influence of alcohol and controlled substances to justice.

The initiative is in partnership with a national impaired driving crackdown featuring intensified, highly visible enforcement activities

Roving Patrol Details are funded by a PennDOT grant and are one of many tools used to increase public safety through increased awareness created by high profile enforcement.
