Lower Merion Police Cracking Down On DUI This Weekend

Thursday through Monday, police in the township will be out looking for drivers who are under the influence.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Lower Merion Township will be conducting Impaired Driving Patrols this weekend in an effort to combat driving under the influence.

From Thursday to Monday, police will be out looking for impaired drivers in partnership with a national impaired driving crackdown featuring intensified, highly visible enforcement activities using the tagline “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.”

The focus will be on finding motorists who are operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances.

Roving Patrol Details are funded by a PennDOT grant and are one of many tools used to increase public safety through increased awareness created by high profile enforcement.
