Lower Merion Schools Hosting Martin Luther King Day Book Drive

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — The Lower Merion School District is hosting a children's book drive this week in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr.

Now through Friday, the district is collecting children's book drive.

Books can be dropped off at six district schools.

All books collected will be given to children whose parents/guardians attend the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service Signature Project at Girard College.

Schools that are accepting book donations are:

• Harriton High School, 600 N. Ithan Ave., #1773, Bryn Mawr
• Lower Merion High School, 315 E. Montgomery Ave., Ardmore
• Bala Cynwyd Middle School, 510 Bryn Mawr Ave., Bala Cynwyd
• Welsh Valley Middle School, 325 Tower Lane, Narberth
• Penn Valley Elementary School, 301 Righters Mill Road, Narberth
• Penn Wynne Elementary School, 250 Haverford Road, Wynnewood
