Lower Merion Township Declares Snow Emergency For Thursday
See what changes are in effect due to the forecasted snow.

Lower Merion Township said it will be under a snow emergency beginning at midnight Thursday.
With a snow emergency in effect, residents should park on the side of the street with odd addresses. The township said this is only in effect on streets with parking on both sides of the street.
Residents are also asked to clear snow from around fire hydrants near their property, and resident who live on a corner are asked to clear a path to the street.

Parking is not allowed on snow emergency routes, as well.

The township is encouraging the public to call PECO directly at 1-800-841-4141 in the event of a power outage.
Thursday's trash and recycling collection will be limited to curbside only, the township said.
