Main Line 7-Eleven Armed Robber Hits Philly Two 7-Elevens

MAIN LINE, PA — After police in Radnor and Lower Merion townships issued crime alerts about 7-Eleven armed robberies, Philadelphia Police reported similar armed robberies at two 7-Eleven stores in the city.
Radnor Police reported a gunpoint robbery occurred at about 9:23 p.m. Sunday April, 12 at the 7-Eleven, 969 Glenbrook Ave. in Bryn Mawr.
Lower Merion Police reported a 7-Eleven at 169 W. City Ave. in Bala Cynwyd was also robbed at gunpoint Saturday, April 11.

The suspect in both crimes was wearing a surgical mask over his face and armed with a handgun.
Now, Philadelphia Police are reporting 7-Eleven armed robberies on April 9 and April 12

At about 10:11 p.m. on April 9, a man came into the 7-Eleven at 1190 East Luzerne Street.
The man, armed with handgun, walked behind the counter, put it to the side of the cashier, and demanded money from the register.
After the cashier gave the suspect an unknown amount of money and a pack of cigarettes, he fled the store on foot and was last seen west on Luzerne Street.
Then at about 12:07 a.m. April 12, an armed man came into a 7-Eleven at 3359 Kensington Ave.
Again, he went behind the counter and demanded money.
Employees gave the man money and several packs of cigarettes.
He left the area heading north toward Ontario Street, police said.
Philadelphia Police said to not approach the suspect and call 911 if he is seen.
