Man Wanted For Assault With Machete: Lower Merion Police
A 25-year-old man is wanted for felony aggravated assault and other crimes after an alleged machete attack in Lower Merion Township Tuesday.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Lower Merion Township Police are asking for help locating a man who is wanted in connection with an assault using a machete.
According to police, two men were fighting in a wooded area between the Cynwyd Trail and Schuylkill River at about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20.
Police said one, who is homeless, sustained significant lacerations from a machete.

Romeo Gagliardi, 25, who is also homeless and living along the Schuylkill River, is wanted for felony aggravated assault, terroristic threats, simple assault, possession of an instrument of crime, recklessly endangering another person, and harassment, court records show.
The victim was treated on scene by Narberth Ambulance and taken to Lankenau hospital for further treatment.

Gagliardi is described as a white male standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 125 pounds. He has black hair and hazel eyes. He was wearing a black T-shirt and dark shorts, and was carrying a backpack and a machete.
