Merion Home Broken Into Midday Friday: Police

Lower Merion Township Police said a home was burglarized in the middle of the day on Friday, Jan. 18 and cash was stolen from the home.

MERION, PA — A burglar targeted a Merion home in the middle of the day on Friday last week, according to Lower Merion Township Police.

Police said a home on the first block of Merion Road in the Merion section of the township was broken into sometime Friday, Jan. 18 at about 12:30 p.m.

The suspect, who is reportedly a white man 20 to 30 years old, got in the home by forcing open a basement window, police said.

After getting in the home, the man stole cash, according to police.

Police said the suspect was wearing a black jacket, black pants, and a red hat.
