Missing Lower Merion Woman Found Dead

LOWER MERION, PA — The woman who went missing after walking away from a Lower Merion senior living facility has been found dead, police confirmed.

Nadine Beech, 84, was found in the Bryn Mawr section of the township on Tuesday afternoon.

Circumstances surrounding her death were not immediately made clear, and a cause of death was not announced. Police said she was experiencing cognitive decline and confusion before she went missing.

"Her family members have been notified," police said. "Our heartfelt condolences and thoughts are with the family."

Beech had been missing from the Waverly Heights senior home in Gladwyne at around 10:30 a.m. on Monday.

Police put out a call for help from the public, saying they were using "all available manpower and technical means to conduct a physical search of the area" but required assistance.

She had last been spotted walking south on Morris Avenue toward Old Gulph Road at about 11:30 a.m. Monday.
