Moms Eat Local: Chung Sing Restaurant

Moms know how tough it can be to eat out with little ones. Patch wants to help you know before you walk in the door if Chung Sing is a good place to eat with your children.

Are there healthy options on the kids’ meal? On the regular menu there is a whole section devoted to "health food" with many mock proteins, Buddha's delight, bean curd in brown sauce, and spicy offerings like string beans with garlic sauce and vegetable hunan style. Brown rice is also available but for an added charge.

How does the restaurant deal with food allergies? Alert your server and they will try to accommodate you.

Is the restaurant so quiet that any childish outburst will draw attention or is there enough noise that a small cry is likely to go unnoticed? It depends on how filled the dining room is. A small cry will be noticed when the dining room isn't crowded, but will go unnoticed if the restaurant is packed.
