Long-Abandoned Main Line Gas Station Sees New Development Proposal
Something's coming to the site of a gas station that's been closed for more than a decade.

WYNNEWOOD, PA — The long-defunct gas station in Wynnewood could get new life, with a Chase Bank proposed for the property.
Chase wants to construct a bank at the corner of Lancaster Avenue and Wynnewood Road, where a gas station has stood vacant for more than a decade.
Specific construction plans weren't immediately available. But one aspect of the proposed construction will be discussed at a public hearing next month.

JPMorganChase is seeking to deviate from the zoning district's architectural standards for storefront facades along sidewalks, which require bulkheads between 12 and 42 inches. The meeting agenda doesn't specify what the bank is seeking to do differently.
The conditional use hearing is set for 6:30 p.m. Nov. 19 in the second-floor board room of the Township Administration Building (75 E Lancaster Ave., Ardmore). Here's the agenda.
