• Federal lawsuit alleges Ardmore gallery was part of multimillion-dollar fake art scheme (6abc.com) — An Ardmore art gallery, Dane Fine Art, is accused in a new federal lawsuit of helping sell millions of dollars' worth of allegedly fake Andy Warhol works, including bogus authentication documents. The case follows an FBI raid at the Ardmore business in July and centers on claims from a Florida family who say they lost more than $6.7 million.
   

• Lower Merion asks court to deny parents' 'fearmongering' request to opt out of computers (inquirer.com) — Lower Merion School District, which serves Ardmore, is asking a federal judge to reject parents' bid to opt their children out of district-issued computers or get private school tuition instead. After revising its tech policy and scaling back devices for younger grades, the district argues parents can't dictate classroom technology and that granting the request would create major logistical and financial burdens.
   

• USGA books five women's championships at Lancaster Country Club (mainlinemedianews.com) — Pennsylvania will see a long run of major women's golf championships, with Lancaster Country Club set to host five USGA events between 2028 and 2044. For Ardmore-area fans, Merion Golf Club is also highlighted as a key championship venue, including recent and future U.S. Amateur and U.S. Open tournaments that keep national golf attention on the community.
