PECO Cutting Power In Ardmore Overnight Wednesday, Saturday

Lower Merion officials said PECO customers on various Ardmore streets will be without power for hours overnight on Wednesday and Saturday.

ARDMORE, PA – PECO customers in Ardmore will be without power for several hours overnight this week due to construction work in downtown Ardmore, according to Lower Merion Township.

The township said PECO will interrupt power for six hours overnight on Wednesday, Dec. 5 and for about 10 hours overnight on Saturday, Dec. 8.

Affected properties are on certain blocks of Cricket Avenue, Cricket Terrace, Lancaster Avenue, Walton Avenue, and East Athens Avenue. Those in affected properties, which are mostly residential, will be notified directly by PECO.

Overnight Wednesday, power will be out from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6. Then, power will be out from 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8 to 6 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 9.

The township said PECO will try to shorten the outage periods, and may even keep power on through other means, if possible.
