Pedestrian Dies After Being Struck By Vehicle In Wynnewood
An 89-year-old woman was struck by a car dealership employee who was test-driving a vehicle Tuesday morning, Lower Merion authorities said.
WYNNEWOOD, PA — A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday morning in Wynnewood.
Lower Merion Township officials said Susan Simpson, 89, of Ardmore was killed when she was struck by a vehicle driven by Liam Crosby, of Havertown.
The incident occurred at 11:09 a.m. at Pizza Nissan of Ardmore, 265 E. Lancaster Ave. in Wynnewood.

Authorities said the Nissan driven by Crosby was turning right out of the dealership when Simpson, who was walking east on the sidewalk, was struck.
Simpson was taken to Lankenau Hospital, where she died from her injuries at 5 p.m. that day.

Crosby remained at the scene and police are investigating the incident.
