Man, Teen Charged In Lower Merion Vehicle Break-Ins
A Philly man and a teenager is facing charges after allegedly breaking into vehicles in Lower Merion Township, according to authorities.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – A Philadelphia man and a teenager are facing charges after allegedly breaking into vehicles in Lower Merion Township recently.
Michael Mihalek, 20, of Philadelphia, has been charged with theft from a motor vehicle, prowling at night, receiving stolen property, and related charges after being arrested Sept. 19, court records show.
The teen's identity was not released due to him being a juvenile, police said.

Mihalek is accused of breaking into vehicles in Lower Merion Township on Sept. 18.
Police were called to Wister Road for a report of two people going from car to car. In total, police believe nine cars were broken into in that timeframe.

He was held after failing to post $10,000 bail, which was set at his preliminary arraignment on Sept. 19, according to court documents.
Mihalek is set to appear for his preliminary hearing on Oct. 10, court records show.
