Photos, Details Of Ardmore Armed Robbery Released
Two men, one armed with a handgun, came in through the restaurant's back door, overpowered a worker, then stole cash Wednesday night.
ARDMORE, PA — Lower Merion Township Police issued details and photos of the armed robbery at an Ardmore restaurant.
Police said at 9:50 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, two men came into Hip City Veg at 76 Coulter Avenue in Ardmore through the back door.
One of the men was armed with a handgun, police said.

The two went to an officer area and overpowered an employee and took cash from the office, police said.
They then fled the scene in an unknown direction, police said.

One man was wearing a black hoodie, black pants, black shoes, a black ski mask and bright yellow gloves. The was wearing all black with a black mask, bright yellow gloves, and a hoodie with a picture of a female, appearing to be artist Frida Kahlo, on the front.
