Police Investigating Potential Child Luring Incident In Ardmore

ARDMORE, PA — A potential child luring incident that occurred in Ardmore last week has police asking for the public's help identifying the suspect.
Haverford Township Police said the man depicted in the sketch above potentially tried to lure an 8-year-old girl last week.
According to police, the man asked a young girl if she wanted a ride home as she walked home from Cardinal John Foley School.

The incident occurred at about 3:35 p.m. on Thursday Sept. 26, at the intersection of Overbrook Terrace and West Hathaway Lane in Ardmore.

Police said the man, described as a being about 55 years old with white hair and an average build, asked the child if she wanted a ride. She said not and went right to a neighbor's house, police said.
The man was reportedly driving a light-colored or white Lexus mid-size SUV, police said.
