Proudly Celebrating The Lower Merion High School Crew Team
The oldest high school rowing program in the country depends on community support
The Lower Merion High School Crew Team, which started in 1948, is the oldest high school rowing program in the country.
With great pride, the team has always depended heavily on philanthropic support from alumni, parents, and friends throughout the years to provide opportunities to introduce rowing to our community and build a competitive program.
This past fall the team participated in the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, MA., on the Charles River, the largest two-day rowing event in the world.

Fast forward to May and our team is thrilled to announce that they will be sending a girls 4x boat to the Women's Henley Regatta held on the most prestigious stretch of the Thames River in England from June 17 to 19, 2022.
