LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Lower Merion Township issued their latest crime blotter recently.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between Aug. 15 and Aug. 25.

Aug. 25

  • Theft of Wallet (Ardmore) - The victim reported that their wallet was stolen from their purse while shopping at a local supermarket. The victim stated that their purse was left in the top of a shopping cart and they discovered the missing items when they went to pay. The investigation into the incident is continuing.

  • Theft of Bicycle (Bala Cynwyd) - The victim reported that their bicycle was stolen from the bike rack at their apartment complex over the past few weeks. The victim stated that the bicycle was secured with a lock at the time. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
  • Theft of Bicycle (Ardmore) - The victim reported that their bicycle was stolen off the front porch of their residence during the afternoon. The investigation into the incident is continuing.

Aug. 23

  • Theft of Vehicle (Bryn Mawr) - The victim advised that their Subaru was stolen overnight from its parking space outside the apartment. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
  • Burglary (Bryn Mawr) - The victim reported that in the early morning hours they were awoken and observed a actor pushing up screen windows on the residence. The victim waiting until the morning to report the incident to police. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
  • Theft (Bala Cynwyd) - The victim reported that a package was stolen off their porch after viewing an actor enter their porch and take the package. The investigation into the incident is continuing.

Aug. 22

  • Theft of Wallet (Ardmore) - The victim reported that while shopping at a local grocery store she was bumped into by a female and at this time their purse was sitting open in the top of a shopping cart. The victim stated they received fraud notification and discovered that multiple items were stolen from their wallet and purse. The investigation into the incident is continuing.

Aug. 21

  • Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - The victim reported that their unlocked Subaru was entered and gone through overnight while parked along the roadway in front of their residence. The investigation into this incident is continuing.
  • Robbery (Bala Cynwyd) - While committing a retail theft, one of the actors assaulted a loss prevention employee of a retail store. The actors were detained and taken into custody. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Aug. 20

  • Theft of Bicycle (Ardmore) - The victim late reported that a week prior their bicycle was stolen from the front porch of their residence. The investigation into this incident is continuing.

Aug. 18

  • Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - The victim reported that while inside a local convenience store the rear window to their Nissan was broken out and a purse was stolen. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.

Aug. 16

  • Theft of Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - Victim reported that their Jeep was stolen from the parking garage of their apartment complex in the overnight hours. Broken glass was found in the parking space where the Jeep has been secured. The investigation into this incident is continuing.
  • Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - Victim reported that their Volvo was entered and gone through overnight while parked in the driveway of their residence. The investigation into this incident is continuing.
  • Burglary (Ardmore) - The victim reported that sometime over the past three days their residence, which is under construction, was broken into. Force was observed to multiple windows and it is unknown if anything was taken from the residence. The investigation into the incident is continuing.

Aug. 15

  • Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - Officers responded to a report of multiple actors breaking into vehicles in the parking lot of an apartment complex. Upon arrival the actors fled on foot and one of the actors was taken into custody. It was determined that a Jeep had a window broken out. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
  • Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - While investigating the above incident a GMC was located with a broken out drivers side window. The investigation is continuing.
  • Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - While investigating the above incident a Lexus was located with a broken out drivers side window. The investigation is continuing.
  • Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) -While investigating the above incident a Toyota was located with a broken out drivers side window. The investigation is continuing.
  • Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - While investigating the above incident a Audi was located with a broken out drivers side window. The investigation is continuing.
  • Theft of Vehicle (Penn Valley) - Victim reported that their Chevrolet was stolen from the driveway of their residence in the overnight hours. The vehicle was left unlocked with the keys left inside. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
  • Theft from Vehicle (Penn Valley) - Victim reported that their Jeep was entered and gone through overnight while parked in the driveway of their residence in the overnight hours. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
  • Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) -Victim reported that their unlocked Kia and Subaru were entered and gone through overnight while parked in the driveway of their residence overnight. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
