DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Another week has gone by and nearly all metrics measuring the impact of the coronavirus in Delaware County have increased.
The most recent data provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Health shows five of the six key metrics have gone up since last week.
Average daily coronavirus patients on ventilators is the only metric to have dropped.

Since last week, the number went down from 0.6 to 0.4.
All others saw upticks.

Newly reported confirmed cases rose from 404 to 426 over the past seven days.
The incidence rate per 100,000 people increased from 71.3 to 75.2
Delaware County's positive testing rate went up, albeit slightly, from 4.6 to 4.8 since last week.
Average daily coronavirus hospitalizations more than doubled since Aug. 13, increasing from 10 to 22.1.
Lastly, the percent of people who are showing up to hospitals with coronavirus-like illnesses rose from 1.2 percent to 1.7 percent.
As of Friday, 282,734 residents in Delaware County have been fully vaccinated; 33,626 have been partially vaccinated, per the state.
To date, the county has seen 47,411 confirmed cases and 1,429 deaths, state data shows.
