September Lower Merion Health Inspections: Hunan Restaurant, Robek's, Sam's Asian Cuisine, More

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – The Montgomery County Health Department inspected more than 30 eateries in the Lower Merion Township in September, some of which had many violations.

Of the 32 establishments inspected in the area, Hunan Restaurant and Sam's Asian Cuisine had the most violations with 16 each.

Violations at Hunan include an mouse-like dropping located in several areas, unclean floor in the food equipment line area, food stuff stored at improper temperature, utensils stored in stagnant water, and more.

At Sam's, inspectors found violations including missing the consumer advisory for consuming raw food, grease build up on the kitchen hood, improperly stored equipment such as knives, condiments stored in open cans, lack of hot water in men's restroom, and more.
