Stolen Vehicle, Mail Theft, More: Lower Merion Crime Blotter

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Lower Merion Township released two weeks' worth of crime alerts

These crime incidents occurred between Jan. 2 and Jan. 14.

Jan. 14
Theft from Building (Haverford) - Theft of a laptop computer and miscellaneous items from a basement storage unit.

Jan. 12
Theft (Penn Valley) - Late reported theft from the apartment in by an unknown individual.

Theft (Merion) - Late reported theft of mail from Dec. 19, 2022, from the large blue US Mailbox.

Jan. 11
Attempt Theft of Motor Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - Off-site security monitor reported an unknown subject shatter the window of a vehicle parked on the top level of garage in an attempt to steal it.

Theft (Bala Cynwyd) - Two bronze doors were pried out of the marble and concrete housing.

Jan. 7
Attempt Theft from Motor Vehicle (Wynnewood) - Victim’s two unlocked vehicles were entered but suffered no loss.

Theft from Motor Vehicle (Wynnewood) - Victim’s unlocked vehicle was entered sometime overnight, and a camping hatchet was removed from the vehicle.

Jan. 2
Theft - Purse Snatching (Ardmore) - Late reported theft of purse sometime on Jan. 1.

Theft - Pocket Picking (Ardmore) - Theft of a wallet.

Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts (Wynnewood) - Theft of PA Registration.
