Student Tied Up, Robbed In Armed Home Invasion Near St. Joe's: Report
A St. Joseph's University student was the victim of an armed home invasion in the late afternoon Tuesday just off the school's campus.
PHILADELPHIA — A college student was tied up and robbed at gunpoint during a home invasion just outside of St. Joseph University's campus Tuesday.
The incident occurred at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at an off-campus apartment on the 2300 block of North 58th street, Action News reports.
Police told the outlet someone kicked in a window air conditioner to get into the apartment, tied the student up at gunpoint, and then stole $16,700 worth of goods, including the victim's black Nissan Versa, according to Action News.
