Teen's Violent Arrest Leads To Delco DA Investigation: Reports
A video of a 16-year-old boy being arrested in Chester has led the Delaware County District Attorney's Office to probe the incident.
CHESTER, PA — The arrest of a teenager in Delaware County has led the District Attorney's Office to investigate how it was handled.
According to Action News, 16-year-old Bahir Green was punched by at least one police officer in Chester during his arrest Friday.
Green is accused of fleeing a traffic stop in a stolen vehicle, striking several vehicles — including a police vehicle — in the process, and crashing into a pole. He is also accused of having a loaded gun.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports Green got out of the vehicle with his hands up when three officers came up to him to take him into custody. At least one was captured on video punching Green while he was on the ground.
Chester Police turned over the case to the DA's office in an effort to show transparency.

Green was taken into custody on various charges and the officers involved are on desk duty, Fox 29 reports.
Green's family and Chester residents gathered Monday at the Chester Police Department to discuss the incident, which they say involved excessive force.
The family says they have not been given information on the incident and that Green is being held about 250 miles away in Uniontown.
