LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Lower Merion Township issued details on recent crime incidents in the township.

Incidents occurred between April 19 and May 5.

May 5

• Theft (Ardmore) - Victim reported that their wallet was stolen from a locker while they were working out at a local gym. The investigation into this incident is continuing.

May 4

• Theft of Package (Bala Cynwyd) - Victim reported that a package was delivered and stolen from the mailroom of the apartment building. The investigation is continuing.

May 1

• Theft from Motor Vehicle (Merion Station) - Victim reported that their Subaru was entered and gone through sometime overnight. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.

April 30

• Attempted Theft of Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - Victim's Infiniti was discovered with a broken rear window. Security observed actors around the vehicle and fled in an unknown direction. The investigation into this incident is continuing.

April 29

• Theft from Vehicle (Penn Wynne) - Victim's unlocked Mazda was entered and gone through overnight while parked in an alley behind the house. The investigation into this incident is continuing.
• Theft from Vehicle (Bryn Mawr) - Victim reported that they made a delivery and upon returning to the vehicle discovered an unknown actor inside the delivery truck. The investigation into this incident is continuing.
• Theft from Vehicle (Wynnewood) - Victim's unlocked Honda was entered and gone through overnight while parked in an open and unsecured garage located behind the residence. The investigation into this incident is continuing.

April 27

• Theft of Purse (Ardmore) - Victim reported that their purse was stolen while at a local coffee shop. The victim advised they placed the purse on the ground under their chair and a few minutes later it was missing. The investigation into this incident is continuing.

April 26

• Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - Victim reported that the rear window of their Land Rover was broken out and items from inside the vehicle were strewn upon the ground. The investigation into this incident is continuing.

April 25

• Theft of Vehicle (Wynnewood) - Victim's reported that their Hyundai, which had been parked along the street in front of the residence, was stolen overnight. Glass shards were located along the curb where the vehicle had last been parked. The investigation into this incident is continuing.
• Theft of Purse (Ardmore) - Victim reported that their purse was stolen was eating at a local establishment. Victim advised they hung the purse on the back of their chair and when they went to leave the purse was gone. The investigation into this incident is continuing.

April 24

• Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - Victim reported that their unlocked Chevrolet was entered and gone through overnight while parked in their driveway. The investigation into this incident is continuing.
• Theft (Bala Cynwyd) - Copper wire was stolen from a construction site during the demolition of a building. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.

April 23

• Burglary (Bryn Mawr) - Victim's reported they received notifications from their security cameras of individuals walking around their residence. Officers arriving found two broken windows to the rear of the property and found ransacking of the main bedroom. The investigation into this incident is continuing.
• Attempted Burglary (Villanova) - Residents advised they were on the second floor of their residence when they heard glass breaking from downstairs. The resident advised they checked their house and found a broken first floor window and cut window screen. A check of the area by Officers was negative, and the investigation is continuing.

April 22

• Theft of Vehicle (Ardmore) - A Infiniti was found to be stolen from the lot of the dealership in the overnight hours. Broken glass was discovered in the parking spot where the vehicle had been last parked. The investigation into this incident is continuing.
• Theft (Bala Cynwyd) - Victim reported that personal items were stolen from a locker while working out at a fitness center. The investigation into this incident is continuing.

April 19

• Theft (Bryn Mawr) - Victim reported that a package was delivered and left in the lobby of their apartment building. Upon returning home, the victim discovered that the package had been stolen. The investigation into this incident is continuing.
