Driver Rescued After Electrical Wires Wrap Tractor Trailer In Ardmore

The Merion Fire Company of Ardmore said the driver of a tractor trailer was rescued from the vehicle after about 45 minutes.

ARDMORE, PA — Firefighters in Ardmore helped free a tractor trailer wrapped in electrical wires Wednesday night.

According to the Merion Fire Company of Ardmore, crews were called to the back of the Ardmore Post Office at about 10:27 p.m.

There, they found the driver of a tractor trailer in the vehicle, with the vehicle wrapped in PECO wires.

Authorities said the wires were also on a dozen mail trucks.

No one was hurt, but firefighters were on scene for a while to clean up the area.
