Turn Lights Red In Honor Of Fallen Lower Merion Firefighters
National Fallen Firefighters Foundation's "Light the Night" week will honor fallen firefighters with turning lights red across the nation.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — The Lower Merion community and surrounding areas have been mourning the loss of two firefighters in July.
Sean W. DeMuynck, 35, died on July 5 after suffering injuries while battling a structure fire on July 4.
Thomas Royds, 48, died on July 24 after being struck by an alleged drunk driver while responding to a crash on Interstate 76.

And from Sept. 25 to Oct. 3, landmarks, homes, fire service organizations, and businesses in the region are set to light up red in honor of DeMuynck, Royds, and other fallen firefighters and their families.
This is part of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation's Light the Night week.
