Animal Control Warden Ed Boegly had to saw a fence to free a deer this morning
Police are sworn to protect and serve their communities. And sometimes, that means helping woodland critters.
On Friday, Lower Merion Police Department's Animal Control Warden Ed Boegly was called to help rescue a deer that was trapped in a metal fence.
Facebook user Carrie Gross Penstronk was on scene and captured this video of Boegly sawing away at the fence to free the deer, which ran off seemingly unharmed.
