Ardmore Station was under construction for several years as SEPTA added new accessibility features, including the elevator. The new station reopened Monday.

The outbound elevator remains out of service as of late Monday morning, a SEPTA spokesperson told Patch. The inbound elevator is not affected, and riders can still exit the outbound platform using the ramp.

"Crews are working to diagnose the issue and make repairs as soon as possible," said SEPTA spokesperson Kelly Greene.
