Wynnewood Home Burglarized Wednesday: Police

This is the fifth burglary-related incident in the Lower Merion area in about one weeks' time.

WYNNEWOOD, PA – Lower Merion Township Police are reporting another residential burglary in the township, making it the fifth burglary-related incident in the area in about one week's time.

According to police, a home on the 400 block of Oakwynne Drive in Wynnewood was burglarized between 9:45 a.m. and 6:15 p.m., Wednesday, May 17.

Police said the burglar got inside the home through a sliding glass door at the back of the home.

The burglar stole cash from the home, police said.

This is the fifth burglary-related incident in the area since May 11.

Earlier this week, Lower Merion Police reported three residential burglaries and one attempted burglary in the township in just five days' time.

According to police, homes in Bala Cynwyd, Narberth, and Penn Wynne were all either burglarized or had burglary attempts made upon them.
