16 Cartons Of Cigarettes Stolen From Bala Cynwyd Acme: Police

The two people seen here made off with more than a dozen cartons of cigarettes from the City Avenue Acme back in November, police said.

BALA CYNWYD, PA – A pair of people are being sought by Lower Merion Police for allegedly stealing 16 cartons of cigarettes from a Bala Cynwyd store.

Police said on Nov. 5, a man and woman came into the City Avenue Acme and stole the cigarettes.

The man acted as a lookout while the woman went behind a desk and put the cigarettes in a multi-colored reusable shopping bag, police said.

Police said the pair then walked out of the store without paying for them.

The woman is described as a white woman in her 40s who was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. The man is described as a black man in his 40s with a full bear who was wearing a white baseball cap, a purple jacket, a black shirt, and green pants.
