Alex's Lemonade Stand's 12th Lemon Ball Set For Jan. 13
Last year, the Lemon Ball has generated nearly $850,000 to fight childhood cancer, all in the name of the late Alexandra Scott.

BALA CYNWYD, PA – Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation is committed to fighting childhood cancer in the name of the late Alexandra Scott, of Wynnewood, who lost her battle with cancer at the tender age of 8 in 2004. And for the 12th year in a row, the foundation is hosting its Lemon Ball fundraiser and you can attend the event.
The 12th Annual Lemon Ball will be held from 6:30 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, Jan. 13 at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown.
The evening will feature live and silent auctions with hundreds of items, stories of childhood cancer heroes, memories of Alex, honoree presentations, food, and dancing.

Alex's parents, Liz and Jay Scott, will also be in attendance.
Those being honored at the 12th Lemon Ball are Northwestern Mutual, lemonade stand host 13-year-old Syndie Bayles of Exton, and ALSF volunteers the Salerno family of Holmdel, New Jersey.

These honorees will be recognized by ALSF for their commitment to the foundation and the fight against childhood cancer.

The 2017 Lemon ball had more than 900 guests and raised nearly $850,000. 2017 honorees were
Penn Wynne Elementary School, Alex's school, the Carpino family of Swedesboro, New Jersey, and Mary
and Molly Hollway of Bloomington, Minnesota.
