Alleged Main Line Crabmeat Thief Reeled In

Police landed a big catch when they busted the shellfish snatcher.

An alleged crabmeat thief accused of stealing seafood from at least three different area Acme stores has been arrested, according to Tredyffrin Police.

Bryan Gray, 31, of New Castle, has been charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property, police said.

Gray was wanted with stealing crabmeat from a Strafford Acme and another Acme on November 5, according to police.

Acme store management identified Gray later that morning as he entered the Paoli Acme, police said.

They notified police and Gray was arrested at the scene at about 11:30 a.m. before he stole anything else, according to police.

It is not known what he was making with the stolen crabmeat.
