Community Corner

Fun Fair @ St Margaret School

Fun Fair & Surprise, Right in  Narberth

St. Margaret School hosted our first fall Fun Fair to bring the local community together promoting new friendships as the school year begins. The fair also brought neighbors and friends together for an afternoon of family fun. Activities enjoyed by all included games like hockey shot, football toss, fish pond and lollipop tree as well as a moon bounce. Food and drinks, popcorn, candy and snacks were enjoyed by all as well as items from the bake sale, used book sale benefiting the library at St. Margaret School, and face painting or hair wraps.  Special raffles and local vendors added to the fun.

A distinguished graduate surprised the crowd with a guest appearance as Father Kevin Gillespie, SJ, SMS Class of 1964 brought the SJU Hawk home to Narberth.  The children loved the Hawk while children and SJU alumni in the crowd were thrilled to meet SJU President Kevin Gillespie.
