Power Outage At Elementary School In Lower Merion District Fixed
The outage impacted the school before class began.
NARBERTH, PA — Power has been restored after Penn Valley Elementary School began Thursday with an outage, officials said.
At around 7 a.m., the Lower Merion School District announced that an outage was impacting Penn Valley Elementary in Narberth.
"PECO is on the way and anticipates power will be restored this morning," the district said. "The building temperature is comfortable, and basic systems are functioning on backup power; therefore, the plan is for students to have a regular school day. Transportation is running and students should plan to arrive at school at usual."

Power was restored about an hour later. The school day is proceeding as planned.
Montgomery has nearly 2,000 power outages as of this writing, according to PECO.

Power has been restored throughout Narberth, and Lower Merion only has 30 outages at this time.
