Area Homes Burglarized Over Five-Day Period: Police
Two Bala Cynwyd residences were burglarized, while one Narberth residence was victim to an attempted burglary.

NARBERTH-BALA CYNWYD, PA – Lower Merion Police are reporting two residential burglaries and one attempted burglary in the and Bala Cynwyd and Narberth, respectively. All occurred in just five days' time, police said.
Police are unsure of exact timelines at this time but offered what information they have.
According to police, between May 12 and May 15 a residence on unit block of East Newfield Way in Bala Cynwyd was hit by a burglar.

Police said the burglar got inside the residence through an unlocked door and took jewelry.
A residence on the 100 block of Jefferson Street in the Belmont Hills section of Bala Cynwyd was burglarized between 1 p.m. May 14 and 9 a.m. May 15, police said.

Police said it's unknown how the burglar got inside the residence, but when inside the suspect took tools.
Lastly, police report a residence on the 500 Block of South Narberth Avenue in Narberth was burgled on May 15.
Police said the burglar was able to enter the residence through an unsecured window.
Once inside, the burglar took valuables such as electronics, jewelry, and checks.
Additionally, police said a home on the 100 Block of Henley Road in Penn Wynne was victim to an attempted burglary sometime between May 11 and now.
Police said the back window of the residence was force and the incident is under investigation
Police did not say if they believe the incidents are related.
