Armed Robber Hits Bala Cynwyd Store Friday: Police

Lower Merion Police said a man stole phones from an AT&T store in Bala Cynwyd and pulled a knife when confronted by security.

BALA CYNWYD, PA — An armed robber hit a Bala Cynwyd store over the weekend, according to Lower Merion Township Police.

Police said the robbery occurred at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, April 26 at an AT&T store at 161 E. City Ave.

At that time, police said a man cane in and stole display phones, police said.

After being confronted by store security, the man piulled out a knife, according to police.

The man fled on foot across City Avenue, police said.

He was described as a black man wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black wind pants, police said.
