Bala Ave. Seeing PECO Work For Weeks

BALA CYNWYD, PA – For the next several weeks, Bala Avenue in Bala Cynwyd will see PECO gas main work, which will lead to road closures during the daytime.

According to Lower Merion Township, starting Thursday, Sept. 14 PECO will begin installing new gas mains on Bala Avenue between West Levering Mill and Conshohocken State roads.

Work will be done between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and will progress in one- to two-block increments, which will cause closures.

There will be no through access during the closure, the township said.
