Bala Avenue Closing For Weeks Beginning Friday
PECO crews will be working on gas main installation work that is projected to last about four weeks, closing Bala Avenue in short sections.
BALA CYNWYD, PA – Bala Avenue in Bala Cynwyd will close in sections daily for gas main installation beginning Friday, Oct. 27 according to Lower Merion Township.
The short sections will be closed between West Levering Mill Road and Conshohocken State Road for about four weeks to accommodate the work.
Closures will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and motorists will not have through access during those hours.

Drivers traveling in the area should account for increased travel time as crews work on the gas mains.
