Bala Cynwyd Sewer Main Repairs To Last Through Friday Afternoon

BALA CYNWYD, PA – Crews will be working on a sanitary sewer force main break on Belmont Avenue in Bala Cynwyd likely through Friday afternoon, according to Lower Merion Township.

The township said crews will remain on scene addressing the issue, which has closed eastbound curb lane of Belmont Avenue for the time being, through the afternoon or until the pipe is repaired.

The township said the break is continuing to affect the area, which is below Belmont Terrace, across from Westminster Cemetery.

The township said tanker trucks are also on scene to minimize potential sewer spillage.
