Bala Cynwyd Wawa, Customers Robbed At Gunpoint Friday: Police

Police said a man armed with a gun came into the store at about 1:37 a.m. Friday and robbed it as well as two customers, police said.

BALA CYNWYD, PA – A Wawa and two customers were robbed at gunpoint early Friday morning in Bala Cynwyd, according to Lower Merion Township Police.

At about 1:37 a.m., a man entered the Wawa at 189 Belmont Ave. armed with a gun.

Police said the suspect robbed the store, as well as two customers, then fled on foot.

He was described as a black male who was wearing all black clothing with a skull mask covering his face, police said.

The suspect was about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weights about 160 pounds, according to police.
