Mild Population Growth Predicted in Narberth, Lower Merion
Forecasts for as far away as 2040 come from the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission.
Population growth in and over the next three decades is expected to be less than that in the county and in southeastern Pennsylvania at large, according to forecasts by the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission.
The borough is likely to add 3 percent to its population between 2010 and 2040, compared to 4 percent in the township. Montgomery County is expected to grow by 12 percent in that period, as is the five-county area:
