Special Holiday Event: Make Ornaments for the State Capitol with New Horizons in Narberth
Art Corner: Special Event: Make Holiday Ornaments for Harrisburg: Monday, November 2 at 1:00 PM at Narberth Borough Hall: Join a time-honored tradition and work with artist Heidi Guy to assemble ornaments to decorate the holiday tree at the Pennsylvania State Capitol Building in this FREE Workshop. Every year, older citizens provide the decorations for the large tree that is the centerpiece of the State Capitol celebrations. This year, New Horizons has been invited to join the fun! We will work together to assemble ornaments fit to decorate the tree and then send our offerings off to Harrisburg to be added to the holiday collection. All materials are provided, or you can bring your own (non-perishable) items to help make your unique contribution to the state's holiday festivities.
Optional Lunch: Philly Cheeseburger, served at Noon. (Please register for the lunch by October 28.)
