CVS In Bala Cynwyd Robbed At Gunpoint Friday: Lower Merion Police

Police said the suspect was a heavyset black man about 50 years old. Anyone with information on the robbery should contact police.

BALA CYNWYD, PA — A CVS in Bala Cynwyd was robbed at gunpoint recently, according to Lower Merion Police.

Police said at about 10:40 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22, a robbery at the CVS at 101 W. City Ave occurred.

A man came into the store and demanded cash from the manager, who he held at gunpoint, police said.

The man fled the area on foot after getting cash, according to police.

Police describe the robbery as a heavyset black man about 50 years old who was wearing a blue jacket.
