Cynwyd Elementary Teacher Has Coronavirus: Reports
The teacher is at self-isolating at home, according to reports.
BALA CYNWYD, PA — A teacher at Cynwyd Elementary School in the Lower Merion School District has tested positive for the new coronavirus, known as COVID-19.
According to multiple reports, a fourth grade teacher at the school recently tested positive for the virus.
Action News reports the teacher is not hospitalized and isolated at home.

Officials in Montgomery County are working to contact students, parents and guardians, or other staff who had close contact with the teacher, according to KYW News.
The district announced the positive test in a letter to the community Tuesday, WHYY reports

"During this time when schools are closed and social distancing is being practiced, children should not be gathering for playdates, parties, sleepovers or group outings," the letter said.
