Cynwyd Road Closing Daily For Several Weeks
The Bala Cynwyd area road will undergo gas main work for about three weeks, forcing the road to close daily.
BALA CYNWYD, PA – A Bala Cynwyd Road will close for several week to accommodate gas main work, according to Lower Merion Township.
Cynwyd Road in Bala Cynwyd is closing from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning Monday, Dec. 4. Closures will be in place weekdays for about three weeks, the township said.
The closure is between Montgomery and Bala avenues for gas main and service replacements.

Emergency vehicles, buses, and residents will not have through access to the area.
