Detour In Place For Belmont Ave. Paving In Bala Cynwyd

Drivers on Belmont Avenue Bala Cynwyd will be detoured daily through May 5 to accommodate water main installation, according to Lower Merion Township. The township said drivers will be detoured during the week from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Aqua PA will be working on water main installation on Belmont Avenue starting Monday, April 24, lasting through Friday, May 5.

Drivers will be detoured over Rock Hill Road,Conshohocken State Road, and City Avenue as crews work in the area.

Local access will be maintained up the construction zone and there will not be any through traffic during the work, the township said.

Belmont Avenue will be open to Levering Mill Road on the northbound lane and to David Road to the southbound lane during the construction, according to the township.
