A Lenten series, led by Prof. John Pahl, that explores the image of Jesus in film from the early 20th c. to the present. There will be a Holy Eucharist celebrated at 7 pm before the program. All are welcome.
John Pahl is Professor of the History of Christianity in North America and Director of MA Programs at The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia. He is the author of many books, including Shopping Malls and Other Sacred Spaces: Putting God in Place and Empire of Sacrifice: The Religious Origins of American Violence.
