The third Narberth Oktoberfest is being held on Saturday
October 1, 2011, from 5 pm to 9pm under festival tents in Narberth Park. The ticket price includes local beers, live music, and festival food, including a pig roast, pretzels, brats & sauerkraut, and more. Proceeds benefit the Narberth Volunteer Fire Department and the Narberth Dickens Festival.
This is a festival for adults, but we have a babysitting option. Our good friends at Narberth Presbyterian have offered to babysit kids 4 and older from 5pm to 9pm.
Please e-mail us at info@narberthonline.com if you want to take advantage of this, so we can let them know the age and number of kids attending. Please also help us say “thanks” by leaving Narberth Pres a donation for them when you drop off your kids!
When the event finishes at 9pm, you don’t have to go
home. We’re planning to have our accordion player lead the festival to our downtown “triangle” of pubs to keep the fun going. This is a party no local will want to miss! Plus we’re raising money for two great Narberth traditions.
